How to contract with EJM Courier Solutions

We keep our federal and state contracting paperwork current so evaluation can move straight to scope and price. Below is everything a contracting officer, purchasing agent, or prime contractor needs to bring us into a procurement.

Socio-economic status — stated plainly

EJM Courier Solutions Inc qualifies as a small business. We do not currently hold 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, SDVOSB, or VOSB certification.

We state this directly because misrepresenting set-aside status on a federal solicitation is a serious matter, and because a contracting officer who discovers it mid-evaluation will not consider us again. If your requirement is set aside for a certification we do not hold, tell us — we can often participate as a subcontractor to an eligible prime instead.

Engagement paths

Four ways to bring us in

Prime contractor

We hold the contract directly with your agency. Best suited to courier-specific solicitations — scheduled route service, interoffice mail circuits, specimen transport, and recurring distribution.

Best fit: Courier and local delivery solicitations

Subcontractor

We run the courier scope underneath your existing prime contract. If you hold a facilities, logistics, or support-services contract with a delivery component in Florida, we can execute that portion without you standing up your own fleet.

Best fit: Prime contractors with a Florida delivery requirement

Micro-purchase and purchase card

Small, immediate needs handled under the micro-purchase threshold without a formal solicitation. Useful for one-off urgent transport when a full procurement is not warranted.

Best fit: Single urgent shipments and short-term needs

State, county, and municipal

Florida state agencies, counties, cities, school districts, and special districts. We register in the relevant vendor portal for your jurisdiction as part of onboarding.

Best fit: Non-federal public sector buyers

Procurement process

What happens after you send us a solicitation

  1. Send the solicitation

Email the solicitation number, scope, and response deadline. We confirm participation the same business day so you know early whether to expect a response.

  2. We return a compliant response

Pricing against your actual scope, required representations and certifications, and any documentation the solicitation calls for.

  3. Clarifications and negotiation

Questions answered directly by the person who will run the account — not routed through a sales team that has never dispatched a route.

  4. Award, onboarding, and start

Route design, driver assignment, facility access, and reporting cadence agreed before the first run. We do not learn your requirements on day one of performance.

One vendor for a 67-county requirement

Statewide requirements are frequently split across multiple regional carriers because no single vendor covers the whole state. That creates the administrative burden the contract was supposed to remove: multiple rate structures, multiple points of contact, and no single party accountable when a leg fails.

We cover all 67 counties from one dispatch operation under one agreement. If the requirement spans regions, that is the case we make.

What we need from you to quote accurately

  • Pickup and delivery locations, or the route map if it is a circuit
  • Frequency and required time window for each run
  • Volume and item type — envelopes, totes, pallets, specimens
  • Any special handling, security, or access requirements
  • Contract period of performance and any renewal options
  • Insurance limits and additional-insured language required

Missing a few of these is fine — send what you have and we will scope the rest on a short call.

Yes, and it is often the fastest way to start. If you hold a prime contract with a courier or local delivery requirement in Florida, we can operate as your subcontractor for that scope under your existing vehicle.

Our registrations, capability statement, and insurance documentation are current and available immediately. Contact us with the solicitation number and response deadline and we will confirm participation the same business day.

Send us the coverage limits and additional-insured language your contract requires and we will confirm compliance in writing before bid submission. Certificates of insurance are issued on request.

Statewide. We serve all 67 Florida counties from a single dispatch operation, which means one contract, one point of contact, and one rate structure for the whole state rather than separate regional carriers.
